Cancer changed my life forever. My family and I walk because we have experienced the pain, the fear and the heartbreak this disease can bring. both my parents passed away from cancer, and not a day go by that I don't feel the weight of that loss. Watching the people you love most fight for their lives is something no one should have to experience. My parents were strong, brave and full of hope but cancer doesn't discriminate. It stole moments, memories, and milestones we should have shared. That's why I walk. I walk to honor my parents' memory and other family members. I walk for the strength they showed every single day. I walk to support others who are still in the fight. This foundation has sone incredible work offering support when it is needed most. Thier dedication to making a difference inspires me and it reminds me that even in loss, we can still create light.
